iPhone app
The screen-time app that talks back.
Tell GoodBully what wastes your time and money and how much is too much. When you hit your limit, it stands in front of the app and says something you’d rather not hear.

Check the kitchen first.
If it is genuinely empty, fair enough. Come back.
Let me in anyway
On screen
What GoodBully says depends on what you’re opening, how hard you’ve asked it to hit, the time of day, how often you’ve opened the app today, and how many times you’ve talked your way past it this week.
Try it. These are the app’s real lines, picked the way the app picks them.
How it works
It blocks instead of nagging.
- You say what you struggle with
- Doom scrolling, binge watching, mindless gaming, online shopping, ordering takeout. Where iOS allows it, GoodBully suggests the apps on your phone that fit. Uncheck the ones you need for work and add any it missed.
- You set a daily limit
- The apps stay open until you’ve used your limit for the day, then the shield comes down until midnight. GoodBully counts every day for 30 days and tells you how you did.
- A shield, not a notification
- A full-screen shield appears before the app opens, not a notification after the fact. Halfway through your limit, it checks in once.
- You set how hard it hits
- Gentle, Blunt, or Brutal. It starts polite and only gets worse if you ask it to.
- There’s a way out
- “Let me in anyway” lifts the shield for 15 minutes, an hour, or the rest of the day. GoodBully keeps count, and the count shows up in what it says next.

Stakes
Put money on it. If you slip, it goes to charity.
Optional, available in the US, and never required for anything else in GoodBully.
- Put money on a goal
- Pick a goal and an amount, and link a US bank account. Bank accounts are connected through Stripe; GoodBully never sees or stores your account number.
- Keep to it
- Meet the goal and the whole stake goes back to the account it came from.
- Miss it
- You can appeal first. If the result stands, the stake goes to the charity you chose when you set it, or to an organization you’d hate to fund. It never goes to us.
- The fee
- $2.99 or 2% of the stake, whichever is more, charged separately when you set the stake, whether you win or lose. We earn the same either way.
Privacy
Your apps and minutes stay on your phone.
Which apps you block and how many minutes you spend in them never leave your iPhone. No analytics, no ads, no tracking. There’s no account unless you put money on a goal, and then only that goal’s daily results are sent.
